Q What is your MOQ?
A 10,000 pcs for a full ODM programme and 3,000 pcs for OEM / build-to-print. We confirm the exact figure with your quote.
Q How much does development cost?
A NRE and tooling are quoted line by line — industrial design, tooling, certification and firmware. Tooling is yours, and NRE can be credited against volume orders where agreed. You see every line before you sign.
Q What are your payment terms?
A T/T with a 30% deposit and 70% before shipment for first orders, with more flexible terms for long-term partners. Sample and tooling fees are quoted separately.
Q What are your shipping terms?
A We ship EXW, FOB or DDP and work with your nominated forwarder or ours. Retail-ready, Amazon FBA-compliant and drop-ship packing are all supported.
Q How long does development take?
A 9–14 months from kickoff to mass production for a new platform, 4–6 months for a derivative model on an existing platform, and prototype samples 6–10 weeks after spec freeze.
Q How fast do you respond to an RFQ?
A We respond to qualified RFQs within 48 hours and deliver an initial industrial-design proposal in roughly two weeks — under NDA, at no cost.
Q Can you work to a fixed launch date?
A Yes. Tell us your launch window at the RFQ stage and we will build the M-Gate schedule backwards from it, flag the gates that constrain the date, and agree a recovery plan in writing.
Q Who owns the IP, the tooling and the moulds?
A You do. On final payment, all industrial design rights, tooling, moulds and firmware branches transfer to your brand. We never share, resell or reuse a customer's design — not in another market, not under another brand, not with another customer.
Q Do you sign an NDA?
A Yes — a mutual NDA is signed before we read your brief. Each programme also runs in a separate code repository and a physically separated project area, with compartmentalised BOM and pricing.
Q Can we get market or regional exclusivity?
A Exclusivity can be agreed for a defined market, channel and period. It is written into the development agreement and tied to a volume commitment.
Q Which certifications can you support?
A Every product DASQI has shipped meets at least CE, FCC, RoHS, CA Prop 65, UKCA, TELEC and KC. We supply test reports and audit-ready documentation packages, not just pass certificates.
Q What quality and social-compliance systems does your factory hold?
A ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management, and BSCI and SMETA 4-pillar for social compliance. We host customer and third-party audits and share reports and corrective-action records on request.
Q What is your defect rate and warranty?
A Every unit passes functional, RF, GNSS fix-time and environmental testing before packing. We ship to an agreed AQL level, maintain lot-level traceability, and back shipments with a 12-month warranty plus spares and RMA handling. 20+ golf rangefinders have reached mass production, all of them.
Q Can we audit your factory?
A Yes, and we encourage it. We host on-site audits and live video tours, and share our ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 documentation pack, BSCI and SMETA reports and line-capacity data before you commit.
Q Do you develop the firmware and golf algorithms in-house?
A Yes. The GNSS stack, auto course recognition, slope compensation and green-contour rendering are all written by our own engineers, so your feature roadmap is never blocked by a third party's release cycle.
Q Can you build the companion app and provide an SDK?
A Yes. Our Taipei software team builds iOS and Android apps, the cloud backend and the OTA pipeline, and provides SDK and API access to the 43,000-course database for secondary development.
Q Can you supply or license golf course map data?
A Yes. 43,000+ courses are preloaded with quarterly updates, and we offer map licensing, SDK/API access and a self-service editor so your team can add or correct courses in your own market.
Q Can your team do secondary development on the app or database?
A Yes. Our Taipei team handles secondary development and customisation on the app, the backend and the course database, working to your specification or alongside your own developers through the SDK.
Q Have you built golf GPS rangefinders before?
A Yes — 20+ of them. Every one reached mass production for leading golf brands in the United States, Korea, Japan and China. Across all GPS categories we have delivered 310+ programmes since 2012.
Q Do you have references we can speak to?
A We can share anonymised case studies publicly and, under NDA, connect you with reference customers in a non-competing market once a mutual NDA is signed.
Q How do you handle price increases or component shortages?
A We flag risk parts at M8 spec freeze and qualify alternates in advance. If a component is discontinued or repriced, you get a written option list with cost, lead-time and validation impact before any change is made.
Q What happens after mass production?
A You keep a named project lead, a spares allocation and an OTA channel for firmware updates. We review field data quarterly and run continuous-improvement actions on yield, cost and failure modes.
